How to improve your listening skills?

•  Talk less
•  Do not interrupt
•  Maintain direct eye contact
•  Put your phone down
•  Listen with your eyes; look for the   unsaid
•  Be interested
•  If you are waiting for a pause, so that   you can speak, then you're not actively   listening
