Today we’ll be showing you how to make traditional Bangladeshi Mashed Green Banana or known as Kacha Kolar bharta in Bengali. This dish is so nutritious and having tons of health benefits.Unriped Banana or Green Bananas are rich in vitamin K and B6 has resistant starch which can help lower blood sugar, so they’re great for diabetics! Green Bananas can be used as a substitute for Potato. All is for Strenght, Power, and should be used in case someone feeling weakness.


  • Mortar
  • Pestle


  1. Coriander
  2. Green Chillies
  3. Jujube
  4. Jaggery
  5. Tamarind
  6. Olives
  7. Plums
  8. Green Bananas
  9. Mustard
  10. Sugar Powder
  11. Dry Chilly Powder


  • Take Coriander, 2 Chillies & 2 Jujubes and crush them, This recipe is spicy and full of flavours.
  • Then add some Jaggery and Tamarind in Mortar and crush and make a thick paste.
  • Then add some more 3 Jujube and then Gree Bananas.
  • After all, this add Mustard, Sugar Powder, and Dry Cilly Powder.
  • Grind all Mix well, and your Kolar Bhorta is ready
  • Kolar Bhorta is mixture of Flavours Sour, Spicy, Mustardy and Sweet.
